FFL Transfers

Before transferring a firearm, ensure it is listed on the Maryland Handgun Roster, HERE. 

Fees:

• In-Person Transfer (person to person):
  • Long Gun: $35
  • Handgun: $45
  • Maryland State Police fee (applicable to all in-Maryland transfers): $11

Shipping:

• Outgoing Transfers (shipping to another FFL): $30 plus shipping costs.

For shipping a firearm to us from another FFL or requesting us to ship your firearm to another FFL, please complete the FFL Transfer Request form below.

Make sure your FFL has an active license before you start your transaction. Ask your FFL for their license and verify that their license is valid. Click HERE to validate.
